Nestlé yavuze ko bimwe mu byiciro (batches) by’amata y’abana ya SMA, n’amata y’abana akurikiraho (follow-on formula) bidakwiye guhabwa abana.
Nestlé yavuze ko ibyo byiciro byagurishijwe mu bihugu bitandukanye ku isi, kandi bishobora kuba birimo ubumara bushobora gutera isesemi no kuruka iyo bwinjiye mu mubiri.

Yongeyeho ati: "Ndashaka guhumuriza ababyeyi, abarera abana n’abandi bose ko turimo gufata ingamba zihutirwa, tugafasha kwemeza ko ibicuruzwa byose byagaragayeho ikibazo bikurwa ku isoko mu rwego rwo kurinda abana n’abandi babikoresha.
"Niba waragaburiye iki gicuruzwa umwana muto kandi ukaba ufite impungenge ku ngaruka zishobora kuba ku buzima bwe, ugomba kugisha inama abashinzwe ubuzima uhamagara muganga wawe."
